Privacy Policy

The short version: your document is uploaded over HTTPS, processed, returned to you, and deleted within two hours. No account is created, nobody reads it, and it is never sent to another company.

What we do with a file you upload

When you use a tool, your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our server, processed by the tool you chose, and the result is sent back to your browser.

Both the upload and the result are written to a temporary working directory on the server. A background task deletes anything older than 2 hours. This runs regardless of what you do -- closing the tab, losing your connection or never downloading the result does not leave the file behind.

Files are never copied to permanent storage, never backed up, and never placed anywhere a search engine or another visitor could reach them. The download link for a result is an unguessable identifier that stops working when the file is deleted.

What we do not do

We do not read, open, sample, moderate or manually review the documents you upload.

We do not send your document to a third-party API. Every tool runs on our own servers using open-source software.

We do not use your files to train machine-learning models or build datasets.

We do not extract, index or store the contents of your documents. The server does not keep a record of what was in a file after it is deleted.

We do not sell, rent or share anything about you with data brokers.

Information we do collect

Because there is no account, we hold no name, email address, password or payment details -- there is nowhere for them to be entered.

Our web server keeps ordinary access logs: the IP address making a request, the time, the page or endpoint requested, the response status and the browser's user-agent string. These exist to keep the service running and to investigate abuse or faults, and they are rotated automatically. They record that a request happened, not what your document contained.

If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can reply to it.

Cookies and analytics

The tools work without cookies. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and we do not build a profile of you.

If analytics or advertising are added in future, this page will be updated before they go live and any consent required in your region will be requested at that point.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws you have rights over personal data held about you. In practice we hold very little: there is no account to access, correct or delete, and uploaded files have already been deleted on the schedule above.

If you believe we hold something about you and want it removed, or you want a copy of it, contact us and we will act on it. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

If your work has strict data rules

Some organizations cannot allow documents to leave their own infrastructure at all, whatever the retention policy. This application can be run on your own machine or private server, in which case nothing crosses your network boundary. That is a legitimate option and we would rather tell you about it than have you upload something you should not.
