What people usually want to know before they upload a document.
Will my table come out perfectly?
Usually close, rarely perfect. PDFs store words and positions, not tables, so columns are inferred. Merged cells, wrapped text and multi-line rows commonly need a quick manual tidy — but you will be adjusting a grid rather than retyping the numbers.
Why is each page a separate sheet?
Because page boundaries usually mean something — a new statement period, a new section. Keeping them separate preserves that and avoids merging headers into the middle of your data.
Can I convert a scanned statement?
Only with an existing OCR text layer. Without one there are no words to position, so the sheet would come out empty.
