Extract Pages

Pull a range of pages out of a long document into a new PDF.

Extract Pages online, free and without limits

The opposite of deleting: say which pages you want and get a new PDF containing only those, in document order. Useful when a client needs page 14 of a 300-page agreement, when one invoice has to come out of a monthly batch, or when only the signed page of a contract should be forwarded. The extracted file is a normal PDF with its text layer intact, not an image crop.

How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. 1

    Upload the source PDF.

  2. 2

Type the pages to keep, for example 1-5 or 2, 9, 12-14.

  3. 3

    Press Extract Pages.

  4. 4

Download the new document containing only those pages.

What you get

  • Mix single pages and ranges in one selection.
  • Pages always come out in document order, however you type them.
  • The original file is never modified.
  • Text stays searchable and selectable in the extracted document.

Questions about Extract Pages

What people usually want to know before they upload a document.

What is the difference between extracting and splitting?

Extracting keeps a selection and gives you one file. Splitting divides the whole document into several files at once.

Can I extract the same page twice?

Each page appears once in the output. To repeat a page, extract it on its own and then merge the result as many times as you need.

Will the page numbers printed on the pages change?

No. Numbers printed into the page artwork are part of the content and travel with it. Use the Page Numbers tool if you want fresh numbering.
